Working with reduced playing spaces forces us to find new ways of creating narrative. The challenge of a small playing space can unlock infinite theatrical possibilities.
Improvisation is a key element of Dramatic Space. Artists to gain confidence creating new work on their feet; at once writer, actor, and director. This work is intensely collaborative; students work in groups and experience the joyful challenge of ensemble creation.
Workshops conclude with the presentation of short original performances, created by participants, employing the techniques learned in the workshop.
